Gothic letter, titles printed in red and black. Contemporary blind stamped pigskin centred by a block of the Crucifixion and Resurrection over wooden boards, soiled, 1 clasp missing; some worming and foxing throughout. Lacking the plate of Budapest.

The original manuscript of Saadedin's history was brought from Constantinople in 1551 by Hieronymus Beck, and translated into German by Joannes Gaudier or Spiegel.
