[Great Britain, Afghanistan.] Correspondence respecting the relations between the British Government and that of Afghanistan since the Accession of the Ameer Shere Ali Khan. London Her Majesty's Stationery Office 1878
First edition Folio, pp. vi, 266. [C 2190] A very good copy in the original printed wrappers. Wrappers a little dusty, chipped at head, minor wear to spine, corner of front wrapper torn off. Small (almost unnoticeable) library stamp on front wrapper. Corners of first few pages creased at foot.

Seventy-three papers with enclosures, from the Secretary of State for India, dated from the 1855 treaty with Dost Mohammed Khan to the Despatch to the Viceroy on 18 November 1878, documenting the relentless march towards the Second Afghan War.
