Corners worn. Shelf nos on spine. With bookplates of Sir John Francis Davis, and Bath Public Reference Library, and occasional discreet blind-stamps of the latter. A very good set. Presented to Bath Public Library by Mrs Miles, in memory of her late husband, Colonel Miles.

John Taylor's account of his voyage from England to India, overland through Europe, by sea to Syria, overland from Aleppo to Basra, and then by sea through the Gulf to India. The second volume comprises detailed instructions, with route lists, tables of distance, and exchange rates, among others, noted.
