Ribeiro, Captain Joao Ribeiro's History of Ceilao. Part I. With notes from De Barros, De Couto and Antonio Bocarro. Translated from the Portuguese by P.E. Peiris Deraniyagala Samarasinha Sriwardhana. Galle printed at the Albion Press [1900]
[First edition ?] pp.[x], 169,[1]. Original wrappers a little worn, and with hole in rear cover, otherwise a very good copy.

This undated volume, presumably the first of this translation, appears to have been privately published by the translator who calls it "purely a labour of love... offered to the public at cost price". Ribeiro served in Ceylon from 1641 to 1658.
