An extraordinary program printed in gold for a promenade on ice by the French officers of the force occupying Beijing and their guests. The program includes picnic menu (consommé, sandwiches, cold beef and lamb, chicken in aspic, Russian salad, pastries, and paté), music for the concert, performed by the bands of the 16th and 17th Colonial Infantry Regiments, as well as an injunction for guests to dress warmly. We have been unable to trace either artist or lithographer.
