The second edition, with great improvements 4to, pp. v, [i, epitaph], [v]-xviii, [ii], 513, [1, list of plates]; with 24 plates (3 folding) and 14 maps (10 folding), numerous vignettes. A very good copy bound in contemporary half calf over marbled boards, neatly rebacked in calf, raised bands. Minor wear to corners, light offsetting from some plates, small wormhole to margin of first few leaves, not affecting text. Armorial bookplate and signature of Thomas William Evans on front pastedown.
